Amin El Akrami Orchestra
1994, Culture delegation of the Highest Commissioner of
Spain in Morocco started in Tétouan, the first musical
conservatory in the zone of the protectorate. The Directorship
was entrusted to D. José María Garrido gaditano
(born in Cadiz) pianist magnificent and excellent player
of Spanish music.
the independence, in 1956, the center became dependent of
the Moroccan Culture Ministery. The new teaching staff is
selected amongst the best professionals of the traditional
orchestras, maintaining the andalusian legacy. To manage
the center in its new stage, is designated the prestigious
teacher Mohamed El Arbi Temsamani, who received the baton
from the hands of the master Lukili.
